 Born and raised in Falls  Church,Va, Chuck attended  Marshall H.S. and Salem  College, WV. After

graduation Chuck went to Langley, H.S. Where he was an assistant his first year and then became the head coach, finishing with a record of 181-132. In that time his teams made nine trips to the regional tournament, one being the regional finals. The Journal Newspaper named Chuck "Coach of the Year" in 1986. Chuck has coached football, golf, and was an assistant athletic director for four years.

Certified to teach any area in Industrial Technology, Chuck's background is in CAD and Architecture. In 1996 the McLean Chamber of Commerce named Chuck "Teacher of the Year". Chuck has had various articles published, the most recent being the cover story for "Tech Directions".
